Nafion™ Membrane NR-212
Nafion ™ perfluorosulfonic acid (PFSA) membranes are non-reinforced films based on chemically stabilized PFSA / polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) copolymer in acid (H +) form.
Their physical properties remain the same for chemically stabilized membranes that exhibit significantly lower fluoride ion release compared to the un-stabilized polymer; this is a sign of improved chemical resistance.
Nafion ™ PFSA membranes are widely used for proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells and water electrolysers.
The membrane acts as a separator and solid electrolyte in various electrochemical cells that require selective transport of cations across the cell junction.
The polymer is chemically resistant and durable.
The membrane is positioned between a backing film and the cover layer.
Our product portfolio includes fuel cell and electrolyzer membranes in various thicknesses and sizes.
