Sigracet GDL 28 BC
Gas diffusion layers are used in fuel cells. Excellent electrical conductivity and effective water management provide superior fuel cell performance and durability in a wide variety of operating conditions.
Sigracet 28 BC is a 5% PTFE applied non-woven carbon paper with a Microporous Layer (MGK). It has a total thickness of 235 um (microns). SGL 28 BC is a low cost alternative to traditional woven carbon paper Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) and Gas Diffusion Media materials.
Sigracet Carbon Fiber Paper 28 Series aims to combine the desired manufacturing rigidity and excellent performance characteristics. Fuel Cell Stack developers and manufacturers benefit from the following greatly improved features:
- Greatly improved homogeneity within and within the batch. The overall variability has been shown to be better than +/- 10% (2 sigma)
- Highly improved surface smoothness
- Greatly reduced the occurrence of false spots on a roll
Best performance in various operating conditions
